With the State Government easing Covid-19 restrictions even further last Monday the elders decided earlier this week that we as the community of faith that is the Murray Bridge Church of Christ can once again meet for worship:
Starting this Sunday, the 5th July at 10.00 a.m.
Please note the following:
1. Please sanitise your hands once having said “Hello” to the greeters and before passing through the double glass doors.
2. In the middle foyer please have your name ticked off as being present. This is a government requirement in case any tracing of suspect virus carriers is needed to be done.
3. There will be an offering receptacle available for those wishing to give.
4. Social distancing – In the chapel area, couples and families can sit together but there must be a chair space between each family group.
5. Communion will be served with the bread being passed first and then the cup. There is space for the helpers to pass between rows to minimize unnecessary tray contact.
6. At the end of the service, THERE WILL BE NO MORNING TEA. (It is hoped that this rule will be dropped very soon.)
7. If anyone is feeling unwell, or is uneasy about attending please stay home. We understand your position and it’s ok.
Your cooperation with these arrangements will be greatly appreciated.
Greetings again, everyone. I trust that you are enjoying our wonderful autumnal weather at present.
As we continue to move through this season of worshipping in a different way, may you all know God’s rich blessings as we share in Communion together in our homes, and as we hear a message from God’s word.
For communion today we will be lead by Graham Nancarrow, and today’s sermon is brought to you by Greg Woolner.
Graham Nancarrow leading in Communion
Greg Woolner bringing us a message from God’s word.
It has been encouraging to hear the news this past week that restrictions in our movements in society are starting to be relaxed – here in South Australia at least.
I am sure that all of you watching these messages are looking forward to that day when we can once again worship our Lord Jesus Christ together in person. I am sure that we will have a great deal for which to praise Him.
MOTHER’S DAY
Today is the special day in our calendar when we especially acknowledge our mothers, with a special focus on their important role in our lives. Pastor Grant’s message today will have a focus on mothers.
Pastor Grant will also be leading us around the Lord’s Table of Remembrance (Communion).
Prepare to take communion and the click on the images below to watch the videos.
As we continue to worship in isolation from each other we are continuing to provide two messages for every Sunday. The first one is to help you to observe communion at home and is led by Trevor Purdie this week. He has asked that you watch a video of a favourite hymn before watching his message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-dEfvz6Vms
Please prepare before viewing some juice and some bread or biscuit.
The second message is from Pastor Grant and is based on his Bible reading for this Sunday.

Regular viewers will notice that we have changed access to these videos because we now have a YouTube channel dedicated to these messages. A big thanks to my son Simon who helped set this up.
As we continue to move through this season of worshipping “together” in isolation, may our Lord and Saviour continue to bless us, guide us and comfort us as we seek His face and dwell in His presence.
