Another week has passed and we are still not able to meet together physically for worship as one. However, it certainly looks like that it is getting closer with every new announcement regarding the easing of restrictions.
In the meantime, we continue to post here on our website the links to our weekly communion talk as well as a sermon.

With some recent easing of restrictions in South Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic we are getting closer to being able to meet again in person. In the meantime, we are continuing to post videos here each week.
For this Sunday, Pastor Grant is leading us in both communion and the message.
As winter roars in on us here in South Australia, I trust that you are all keeping warm on the frosty nights and mornings of this last week. With the way that the restrictions are being modified, we may be able to soon meet together to worship once again.
The links to this week’s video messages are below. The first one features Steve Bown leading us in communion, and the second one is our guest speaker, Geoff Payne. Geoff is the CEO of Churches of Christ CareWorks here in SA.
Over recent months the Church of Christ Coffee Shop has been closed due the restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people have missed the opportunity to meet in the coffee shop for a coffee, cup of tea or a meal.
We are pleased to announce that from 10th June 2020 – that’s tomorrow – the coffee shop will re-open but with some restrictions.
Coffee Shop hours: Wednesday – Friday each week from 10 am – 2 pm.
Restriction: only 20 people at a time.
Please book ahead by ringing our manager, Chris Bown on 0402 081 039.
Greetings to everyone accessing the messages for 7th June 2020 at the Murray Bridge Church of Christ, South Australia.
I trust that you are continuing to be blessed by God each day as you follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour – despite the strange and difficult times in which we live.
I encourage you all to use your days wisely by reading and meditating upon God”s Word – His Living Word – the Bible. I would also like to encourage you to spend time in fellowship and prayer with the Creator of this wonderful world on which we live. Let us take our eyes off of the troubles of this world and “fix our eyes on the Author and Perfecter of our faith.”
Our church’s bookshop has been closed over the last few months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people have been waiting patiently for the restrictions to change so that we can re-open this vital and much loved ministry of our church.
Bookshop reopening
We are pleased to announce that the Murray Bridge Church of Christ Bookshop will re-open from Wednesday 3rd June 2020 at 9:30 am.
Please note that for the time being that our bookshop will only open on Wednesday each week, from 9:30 am to 4 pm. This is due to a lack of volunteers to help serve customers.
If you are in a position to volunteer for a few hours week to serve in this way, please speak to Pastor Grant Spangenberg on 8532 2883. (Please note that we would expect volunteers to be in regular fellowship in a Christian church in the Murray Bridge area.)
